I’m currently in the process of replacing my MAC Cosmetics with Zuii Organic. They’re certified organic flora make-up which is so much healthier for my skin. Our skin is our largest organ so whatever we put on is absorbed directly into the blood stream. No wonder we get toxic overload!
Thankfully though, I was able to purchase some different samples of their products I was interested in. This will make it much easier as I’ll be able to try before I buy. Make-up’s not something I would normally buy online unless I was replacing a tried and tested product. Unfortunately though these products aren’t readily available in my area so its online shopping for me.
I also got lucky and cashed in on a really great deal last week they had. I bought their make-up brush set and got a free travel pack bronzing powder valued at $59.95. Not bad!
I haven’t wanted to wear any make-up yet because of all the side-effects I’ve had and are still going through. But once my skin and flushes have improved and I’ve tried all the samples I’ll definitely be wearing it regularly on weekends. Wearing make-up at work isn’t something I do, especially in the military. DPCU’s, GP Boots & Make-up, not the look I’m aiming for.
But it will be nice to be wearing certified organic make-up and not having to worry about how it’ll affect my sensitive skin and eyes. Here’s hoping it ticks all the boxes so I can get back in touch with my feminine side again. It kind of got put on the back burner during my breast cancer journey. I didn’t feel feminine at all whilst I was bald and still don’t quite yet. But I’m booked in to an organic salon in Brisbane next week for my first cut and colour ready for my return to work. That will definitely help me feel better about myself. That and the fact that I’m using organic products that aren’t harmful to me or to the planet. Every little bit counts.
So have you tried Zuii Organic and if so what did you think?
