The phrase "find hope in health" came about purely by accident and if I'm going to be honest, it wasn't my idea.

During the design process for my website branding, it was used in one of the concepts pitched to me from Brenton at The Autumn Co. I instantly liked it, then on the drive home with hubby from our meeting we brainstormed some ideas and came up with what it means to me, more importantly how it relates to my story.

So, what does it mean? Well, let me break it down for you so you understand why it's so important and not just four little words.

Hope = Believe

I believe in what I'm doing as far as my health, fitness and wellbeing are concerned. My decision to quit conventional medicine, to stop taking pharmaceuticals and cancel all on going specialist appointments two years into a five-year process took a huge leap of faith. I believed and more importantly hoped, because as we all know there're no guarantees in life, that my new path was right for me and would provide me with a better quality of life. It's about you believing in something, in anything. Just as long as you believe in it, there'll always be hope.

Health = Physical, Mental + Spiritual

Health, on the other hand, is all about my mind, body and spirit. It's my physical health, my mental health and my spiritual health. My health and healing aren't just about my body. My cancer surgery and various treatments impacted me on every level physically, mentally and spiritually. Hence why I'm focused on healing my overall health because I'm so much more than just my body.

So there you have it, folks. There's the background to my "Find Hope In Health" tagline and hashtag and why you'll see me using in social media #findhopeinhealth. I'm manifesting and taking imperfect action every single day to find hope in health. What are you doing for yourself, leave me a comment below and share with me your approach. I'd love to hear all about your ideas.
